AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO AWARD CONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES AND DESIGN WORK FOR THE MASTER
DRAINAGE PLAN, PHASE A, AND VARIOUS
OTHER DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE MASTER
DRAINAGE PLAN, PHASE A, AND VARIOUS
OTHER DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to enter into contracts with the following firms for the
purposes and projects shown:
A. Garver and Garver, Inc. for engineering
services for the Master Drainage Plan Update - Phase A,
for an amount not to exceed $75,000.00;
B. Garver and Garver, Inc. for engineering design
and construction administration services for storm drainage
projects in an amount not to exceed $53,000.00 appropriated
by Ordinance No. 14,173; and
C. Hodges, Vines, Fox and Associates for engineer-
ing design, construction administration and surveying
support services for drainage projects in an amount not
to exceed $25,000.00 as appropriated in Ordinance No. 14,173;
Section 2. Seventy -five thousand dollars
($75,000.00) previously allocated for the Master Drainage
Plan Update are hereby appropriated from interest funds
of the 1977 Capital Improvement Fund to be used for engineer-
ing services for the Master Drainage Plan Update, Phase A.
Section 3. Upon completion of the service
contracts authorized herein or from time to time as may be
required, the City Manager and Director of Finance are

hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary
warrants in payment of the contract price.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
