AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE SOUTH CENTRAL LITTLE ROCK
LAND USE PLAN, AMENDING THE SUBURBAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has annexed an area known as the "South Central
Little Rock Island "; and
WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors recognize the importance of
land use planning in this area; and
and
WHEREAS, the staff has developed a Land Use Plan for the island;
WHEREAS, the Suburban Development Plan addresses this area; and
WHEREAS, a duly advertised public hearing has been held on the
merits of the plan and the necessary amendments to the Suburban Development
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. The South Central Little Rock Island Land Use Plan is
hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. The Suburban Development Plan is hereby amended to comply
with the above referenced South Central Little Rock Island Land Use Plan.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
