AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas by the owner of the hereinafter
described lands praying that said lands be annexed to and
made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on December 21, 1981? the County Court of
Pulaski County, Arkansas found that the Petition was signed
by a majority of the total number of real property owners in
the area proposed to be annexed and by the owners of more
than one -half of the acreage of said area; that said lands
are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate map of
said lands had been filed with and made a part of said
Petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and
in the manner prescribed by law; and that all things
pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by
law and that said lands should be annexed to and made a part
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to acceptance
of same by the Board of Directors of said City at the proper
time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said
Order of Annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has
expired and no appeal has been taken from said Order.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to
and adjoining the City of Little Rock, be and the same are
hereby accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of
the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; to -wit:

A tract of land situated in the NE 1/4 of the
SE 1/4 of Section 18, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly
bound and described as follows:
Commencing at the NE corner, SE 1/4 of said
Section 18, thence N 87 degrees 09' 52" W
along the north line of said NE 1/4, SE 1/4
for a distance of 300.08 feet to a Point of
Beginning; thence continuing N 87 degrees 09'
52" W along the north line of said NE 1/4, SE
1/4 for a distance of 339.54 feet; thence
South 01 degrees 27' 13" W 544.97 feet to a
point on the northeasterly right -of -way line
of Jones Street; thence S 87 degrees 45' 12"
E 339.57 feet; then N O1 degrees 25' 37" E
541.48 feet to the Point of Beginning; said
tract of land containing 4.234 Acres (1841
417 S.F.), more or less.
AND

All public rights -of -way adjacent to the above
described lands.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
