AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
($40,000.00) FROM FRIENDS OF THE ZOO TO BE
USED FOR THE BIG CAT DISPLAY AND APPROPRIATING
SAID FUNDS FOR THE BIG CAT DISPLAY; EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION TO FRIENDS OF THE ZOO FOR THEIR
PRESENTATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED FOR THE
BIG CAT DISPLAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Zoo had committed
FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000.00) that they had raised
to be used for the Big Cat Display; and

WHEREAS, the Big Cat Display is nearing completion
and will be opened sometime in the spring of 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000.00)
is hereby accepted from Friiends of the Zoo to be used
for the Big Cat Display.
Section 2. FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000.00)
accepted from Friends of Zoo is herebv appropriated to
Account No. 399 -9716 -903 to be used for the Big Cat Display.
Section 3. Appreciation is hereby expressed to
Friends of the Zoo for their efforts in raising funds for
the Big Cat Display and for their presentation of these
funds to the City.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
