3 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL
4 SERVICES CONTRACT TO ARKANSAS APPRAISAL ASSOCIATES
5 FOR APPRAISALS OF RIGHTS -OF -WAY & EASEMENTS OF
6 SPECIFIC PROJECTS FOR THE 2004 BOND CAPITAL
7 IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

9 WHEREAS, professional appraisals of rights -of -way & easements is needed for
10 the 2004 Bond Capital Improvement Program street reconstruction, traffic signal &
11 intersection improvement, drainage improvement and school area pedestrian safety,
12 and
13 WHEREAS, Funding for the project is available from funds from the 2004 Bond
14 Issue (e.g., 315 - 220 -DP, 318 - 220 -SW, 314 - 220 -SR, 314 - 220 -TS, 314 - 220 -II), and
15 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received professional appraisal services price
16 proposals (bid number 04 -4229) and Arkansas Appraisal Associates was named one of
17 the qualified selected bidders for professional services as specified for named projects.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and
21 execute a professional appraisal of rights -of -way & easements services agreement with
22 Arkansas Appraisal Associates to provide appraisal services, at specific project locations
23 as required and requested, for designated project prices not to exceed as detailed herein:
24 De1Ray Drive (Watt Street to End) $10,000
25 291h Street (Gilman to Tatum) Improvements $10,000
26 Cobb / Boyd Street (Ph 2), Tatum Street (361h to 3711,) and 37th Street

Section 2. Funding for the project is available from 2004 Bond Issue (e.g., 315 -
220-DP, 318- 220 -SW, 314 - 220 -SR, 314 - 220 -TS, 314 - 220 -II).
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid
or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.

Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, inconsistent with this
resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
