AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
SEVENTEEN INDEPENDENT TAXICAB PERMITS
FROM TIME TO TIME, AS SAME ARE REVOKED
SURRENDERED, FORFEITED, OR THE LIKE,
TO THO14AS L. ROBINSON, DOING BUSINESS AS
CAPITOL CAB COMPANY, MAKING FINDING OF
PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the Staff has held a public hearing on
the application of Thomas L. Robinson, doing business as
Capitol Cab Company, for the operation of seventeen additional
taxicabs in the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, in addition to
other taxicabs, presently allows twenty independent taxicabs
to operate in the City; and
WHEREAS, it has been found that from time to time
said independent taxicab permits are revoked, surrendered,
forfeited, or the operators thereof cease operating said
taxicabs; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby found to be in the best
interest of public convenience and necessity to authorize
the transfer to Thomas L. Robinson, doing business as Capitol
Cab Company, of the various independent taxicab permits
that may from time to time be revoked, surrendered, forfeited,
or the like; provided that no more than seventeen of such
taxicab permits shall be so transferred.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. It is hereby found to be in the best
interest of public convenience and necessity to authorize
the transfer to Thomas L. Robinson, doing business as Capitol
Cab Company, of the various independent taxicab permits that

may from time to time be revoked, surrendered, forfeited, or
the like; provided that no more than seventeen of such taxi-
cab permits shall be so transferred.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
