RESOLUTION NO. 7,849
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE PARTICIPANTS IN
THE SUCCESSFUL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BOND
ISSUE.
WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Little Rock
overwhelmingly passed the Capital Improvement Bond Issue which was
presented to them in the recent election; and
WHEREAS, this decision affirms that Little Rock wants to
progress into the next century; and
WHEREAS, without the assistance of so many citizens who
participated by informing the public of the need for the passage
of this bond issue, the issue might have failed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors hereby
expresses its appreciation for the dedication and hardwork
displayed by so many citizens with regard to the passage of the
Capital Improvement Bond Issue.
