A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING REGARDING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas General Assembly has given
municipalities the power to annex areas that are completely
surrounded by said municipalities under Act 314 of 1979; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be conducted within
sixty (60) days of the proposal of the ordinance calling for
annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION I. That the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock shall hold a public hearing on September 15,
1987, regarding the proposed annexation of the following
property. The attached exhibit is a map of such property
and is a part of this Resolution.
a. Exhibit A (Map 1): "Kirkpatrick's Island:"
The North 150 feet of the West 200 feet of the
NE 1/4, SE 1/4 of Section 18, T -1 -N, R -12 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, containing .69+ acres of
land.
SECTION Ii. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage.
