RESOLUTION NO. 7,754
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING AND ENCOURAGING THE
ARKANSAS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION'S EFFORTS IN
AIDING LITTLE ROCK'S YOUTH -AT -RISK.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors is concerned
about the well being of all families in the City, particularly

those in the youth -at -risk category; and
WHEREAS, the Board realizes the importance of creating an
environment for volunteer participation by concerned citizens,
youth, parents and service agencies to work toward the betterment
of individuals in the youth -at —risk category; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Community Foundation has created a
partnership of fifteen councils to solve problems involving those
in the youth -at -risk category; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Community Foundation's proposed model
of service planning and delivery for youth -at -risk will permit a
change from crisis intervention to prevention, thereby ensuring a
better future for all our citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors hereby
encourages and supports the Arkansas Community Foundation's
efforts to aid those individuals in the youth -at -risk category in
our City.
