A RESOLUTION STATING THE OPPOSITION OF THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
TO A PROPOSED LANDFILL NEAR OTTER CREEK
SUBDIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the
Department of Pollution Control and Ecology for a landfill
near Otter Creek Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has been invited
to make comments on the proposed landfill application;
and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works, the Fire
Department and the Comprehensive Planning Department have
reviewed the proposed site and application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The Board of Directors opposes the
proposed landfill near Otter Creek Subdivision and urges
denial of the permit application.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
