A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE CITY STAFF AND
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS WHO DONATED THEIR TIME
AND EQUIPMENT IN RESPONSE. TO THE TORNADO
DISASTER ON DECEMBER 2, 1982; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1982, members of the City Staff and
Community Volunteers responded with time and equipment beyond
the call of duty in aiding the victims of the tornado disaster.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Staff and community members who responded
with time and equipment beyond the call of duty in aiding the
victims of the tornado disaster on December 2, 1982.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval.
