RESOLUTION NO. 6,902
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE QUITCLAIM DEEDS TO CONVEY EXCESS
RIGHT -OF -WAY ON EAST ROOSEVELT ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City has determined that a portion of the
one hundred sixty (160) foot wide rights -of -way on East
Roosevelt Road, from the C.R.I. & P. Railroad eastward to
the Missouri Pacific Railroad, is excess to City needs; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors that
approximately fifty (50) feet on the southern most portion of
said rights -of -way will be returned to adjacent property
owners,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
quitclaim deeds to clear title to the City rights -of -way
described above. The quitclaim deeds may be executed separately
but in each case will give proper consideration to the estab-
lishment of the appropriate utility easements in the deeded
areas.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approved.
