A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED IN FAVOR
OF LAVERNE WILLIAMS, BRENDA THOMAS AND
MYRLENE TURNER PURSUANT TO AN OPTION TO
PURCHASE ENTERED INTO BY THE LITTLE ROCK
PORT AUTHORITY AND LAVERNE WILLIAMS AS TO
TRACT P, AREA 201, LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUS-
TRIAL PARK, SAID DEED TO CONVEY THE LAND AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN AND TO BE DELIVERED UPON
PAYMENT OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE
PRICE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to Resolution No. 7,089 adopted
November 15, 1983, has authorized the sale of the real property
described below to Laverne Williams; and
WHEREAS, LaVerne Williams has requested that such real
property be conveyed by the City to LaVerne Williams, Myrlene
Turner and Brenda Thomas, as tenants in common;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. LaVerne Williams has optioned to purchase
approximately .95 acres of land described as Tract P, Area 201,
Little Rock Port Industrial Park, pursuant to an option to pur-
chase agreement, dated October 31, 1983. The tract of land under
consideration is more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land situated in the Northeast 1/4
Southwest 1/4 of Section 16, Township 1 North,
Range 11 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the
Southwest 1/4 Southwest 1/4 Section 16, Town-
ship 1 North, Range 11 West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian; thence along the South line of said
Section 16, N 880 47' 31" W, '892.07 feet; thence
along the West line of Tract C, Area 101 of the
Little Rock Port Industrial Park, and the southerly
and northerly extensions of said line N 00° 12' 52"
E, 1893.21 feet to a point on the North right -of -way
line of Lindsey Road, thence along said North right -
of -way line of Lindsey Road, S 89° 47' 08" E, 1573.19

feet to a point on the Southeasterly right -of -way line
of a Little Rock Port Authority Railroad Spur, said
point being the Point of Beginning; thence along said
Southeasterly right -of -way line along a curve to the
right an arc distance of 353.81 feet, said curve having
a radius of 363.07 feet, and a chord bearing and dis-
tance of N 43° 36' 49" E, 339.98 feet; thence continuing
along said Southeasterly right -of -way line N 71 °. 31' 52"
E, 12.27 feet; thence S 000 12' 52" W, 250.95 feet to a
point on the North right -of -way line of Lindsey Road;
thence along said North right -of -way line N 890 47' 08"
W, 245.22 feet to the Point of Beginning; and containing
.95 acres, more or less.
Section 2. As per the terms of the option to purchase
agreement, dated October 31, 1983, there shall be paid to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas the sum of $15,000.00 for the
property described above.
Section 3. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas hereby approves the sale of the property described
herein to LaVerne Williams, Brenda Thomas and Myrlene Turner,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas a Warranty
Deed and the appropriate Plat and Bill of Assurance, conveying
said property to LaVerne Williams, Brenda Thomas and Myrlene
Turner; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
attest said instruments and to deliver the same to the Office of
the City Attorney for delivery of same to LaVerne Williams,
Brenda Thomas and Myrlene Turner upon full payment of considera-
tion in the sum of $15,000.00.
Section 4. Resolution No. 7,089 is hereby repealed.
Section 5. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from the date of its adoption.
