A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR THE GEYER SPRINGS
BRANCH DRAINAGE PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City.Manager is hereby authorized to accept
bids and award a contract to the bidder as set forth in the attached
fact sheets and bid tabulations for a contract for the Geyer Springs
Branch Drainage Project for a total price not to exceed the budget,
payable from the funds specified in the fact sheets.

SUBJECT: Geyer Springs Branch Drainage Project
BOARD ACTION RECOMMENDED: Authorize the City Manager to enter into
a contract wit eyno s & Williams, Inc., the low bidder, in an
amount of $594,119.90 for the construction of the Geyer Springs
Branch Drainage Project.
Funds for this project are appropriated in Account # 599 -8670
and # 399 -9212.
This project is the second of the two 1983 Drainage Projects which
was delayed while awaiting additional funds.
The project consists of the construction of 3 bridges, 1 box culvert
and related channel improvements from Senate Drive downstream to a
point just below the Geyer Springs Road crossing at McClelland High
School.
