A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO PURCHASE 4.2 ACRES IN
ROCK CREEK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a deed, attacted hereto as
Exhibit A, for the purchase of land described in the deed, 4.2
acres in Rock Creek, as part of the Flood Land Acquisitions for
atotal price of $18,295.20.

THAT SYNAGOGUE AGUDATH ACHIM, A CORPORATION ORGANIZED
AND EXISTING UNDER AND BY VIRTUE OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF
ARKANSAS, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 7,207 ADOPTED
June 5, 1984 , BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, GRANTOR, FOR
AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE SUM OF EIGHTEEN THOUSAND TWO
HUNDRED NINETY -FIVE DOLLARS AND TWENTY CENTS ($18,295.20),
AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, THE RECEIPT OF
WHICH IS HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGED, DOES HEREBY GRANT, BARGAIN,
SELL AND CONVEY UNTO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
GRANTEE, AND UNTO ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER, THE
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LANDS SITUATED IN THE COUNTY OF PULASKI,
STATE OF ARKANSAS, TO -WIT:
The South 944.1 feet of the E 1/2, W 1/2., NW 1/4,
SE 1/4, Section 2, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at a point on the East line of said E 1/2, W 1/2,
NW 1/4, SE 1/4, of said Section 2, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, which
is 372.7 feet South of the NE corner of said E 1/2,
W 1/2, NW 1/4, SE 1/4, Section 2; thence South along
the East line of said E 1/2, W 1/2, NW 1/4, SE 1/4, a
distance of 944.1 feet to the South line of said E 1/2,
W 1/2, NW 1/4, SE 1/4; thence West a distance of 329.0

an ingress and egress to the above lands, across the

Section 2, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, said easement being along
West side of North 372.7 feet of E 1/2, W 1/2, NW 1/4,
SE 1/4, Section 2, T -1 -N, R -13 -W.

UNTO ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER, WITH ALL THE
APPURTENANCES THEREUNTO BELONGING. AND THE GRANTOR, HEREBY
COVENANTS WITH SAID GRANTEE THAT IT WILL FOREVER WARRANT AND
DEFEND THE TITLE TO THE SAID LANDS AGAINST ALL CLAIMS
WHATEVER.
