7186M MOAN M M M Me RESOLUTION NO. 7,186 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A RIGHT -OF -WAY DEDICATION TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN EXTENSION OF REGENCY DRIVE. M M M M WHEREAS, there is currently a tract of land that was conveyed to the City of Little Rock in 1936 for the purpose of providing a water line right -of -way; and WHEREAS, Regency Drive should be extended in order to help alleviate the rush hour congestion for individuals getting onto Shackelford Road; and WHEREAS, such a street extension would allow an alternate access onto West Markham Street. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby dedicated to the public for a right -of -way for the construction of a extension of Regency Drive across a tract of City property described as: NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 4, Township 1 North, Range 13 West, more particularly described as beginning at Southwest corner of said tract of land; run North on West line thereof 50 feet; thence in a Southeasterly direction to a point on the South line thereof which is 350 feet East of point of beginning; thence West along South line to beginning. Said strip of land being 20 feet in width on the Northerly side and 30 feet in width on the Southerly side of the center of a certain pipe line as the same is now or may hereafter be located and constructed on and across said tract of land, the boundaries of said tract of land to parallel and conform to the location of said pipe line. SECTION 2. Hooper -Bond Company is hereby granted permission to construct the extension subject to the following provisions: 1. There shall be provided an easement parallel to the existing 39" and 20" water lines along the South side of the Hooper -Bond property such 165 r r r M mom r r r mom r M r r that the North side of the easement will be ten (10) feet North of and parallel to the existing 20" water line. 2. There shall be constructed an interception ditch along the South side of the Hooper -Bond property to divert present run off to the natural drainage channel along the West property line of the Hooper -Bond property to protect the existing 39" water line from further erosion due to concentrated points of run off discharge from the Hooper -Bond property. 3. There shall be constructed a re- enforced concrete slab to bridge traffic loads across the existing 39" water line due to shallow cover. ADOPTED: May 1, 1984 ATTEST: i /- 2 APPROVED: MAYOR J.
