A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
A CONTRACT FOR CONCESSION OPERATIONS AT
RIVERFRONT PARK.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation staff and the staff of
the City's Purchasing Department invited proposals from
interested firms for a possible lease arrangement for the
exclusive rights to operate a food and beverage concession for
1984 through 1988 at Riverfront Park; and
WHEREAS, the staff established criteria to evaluate
proposals; and
WHEREAS, representatives of companies submitted proposals
to the staff; and

WHEREAS, a contract for 1984 through 1988 is to be awarded
with an option to renew subject to both parties' approval after
1988; and
WHEREAS, during the first year of operation the City will
receive four (48) percent of the total net sales.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept a proposal and award a contract to International Bazaar
for the operation of a food and beverage concession at The
Riverfront Park Activity Center for 1984 through 1988 with an
option to renew in 1988 subject to both parties' approval.
