RESOLUTION NO. 7,171 .114
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE ALL CONTRACTS, AGREEMENTS, AND
INSTRUMENTS AND TO PROVIDE FUNDS AS NECESSARY
FOR THE WIDENING OF GEYER SPRINGS ROAD FROM
BASELINE ROAD TO VALLEY DRIVE AS A PART OF THE
FEDERAL AID URBAN PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, two hundred seventy six thousand, nine hundred
thirteen dollars ($276,913) has been appropriated from Bond
Interest Funds for Geyer Springs Road improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City desires that this improvement be
constructed at the earliest possible date that will not conflict
with other established funding schedules;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute all contracts, agreements, and instruments with the
Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department and others as
required relative to the widening of Geyer Springs Road from
Baseline Road to Valley Drive.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to provide funds to the Arkansas Highway and
Transportation Department for federal aid matching funds and to
others as the project may require.
