A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF
LAND FOR FLOODWAY AND OPEN SPACE PURPOSES;
COMMENDING KELTON R. BROWN, SR. FOR HIS
DONATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Kelton R. Brown, Sr. has dedicated certain
property in the Fourche Bottoms for floodway and open space
purposes, and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the dedication
be accepted and that Kelton R. Brown, Sr. be commended for
deeding the land to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The dedication of 2.5 acres more or less
described as follows:
Part of the Wz NW4, Section 23, Township 1 North,
Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more par-
ticularly described as follows: Beginning at the
Southwest corner of the NW4 NW4; thence South 2
degrees West on the West line of the Wz NW4 261
feet; thence South 79 degrees East 299 feet to the
West right -of -way line of Highway; thence North 7
degrees W 460 feet; thence North 23 degrees West
293.9 feet to the South line of Highway I -30; thence
North 77 degrees West 78.8 feet to'to the West line;
thence South 2 degrees West 515.9 feet to the point
of beginning.
is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. Kelton R, Brown, Sr. is hereby commended for
his dedication of the land to the City.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval.
