A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JOE BRATTON AND ED
GILBERTSON, MEDIC VAC EMPLOYEES, FOR RESCUE
OF TWO CHILDREN.
WHEREAS, because of the snow and ice conditions that
prevailed in December of 1983 many individuals across the United
States were injured or died; and
WHEREAS, some individuals because of their actions saved
numerous lives that would have been lost because of the adverse
weather conditions.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock does hereby commend Joe Bratton, paramedic, and Ed
Gilbertson, E.M.T., employees of Medic Vac, for their rescue and
valiant efforts on behalf of Carl L. Williams, age 10, and Eva
Bauemer, age 13.
