A RESOLUTION HONORING MR. GALE F. WEEKS
FOR HIS DEDICATED AND UNSELFISH SERVICE
AS A MEMBER OF THE LITTLE ROCK CITY
BOARD OF DIRECTORS, 1981 -1984, AND TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Mr. Gale F. Weeks has faithfully served for
over 33 years his neighbors first as policeman, then as
Chief of Police and finally as a member of the Little Rock
Board of Directors, member of Central Arkansas Transit
Authority, Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission
and the Little Rock Arena Commission; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gale F. Weeks has always served his
community with honor, dignity and integrity; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gale F. Weeks has always listened and
tried to help all Little Rock citizens regardless of race,
creed, religion or economic condition; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gale F. Weeks has always been unselfish in
his time, personal resources and personal commitment to his
fellow citizens.
BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED THAT THE LITTLE ROCK BOARD
OF DIRECTORS expresses on behalf of all the citizens its
appreciation, affection and unending thanks to Gale F. Weeks
for his service and commitment as Chief of Police and as a
member of the Little Rock City Board of Directors.
