A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A TRASH PICKUP DAY FOR FORMER AND
PRESENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN AN EFFORT TO
SUPPORT THE NEED TO FIGHT LITTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is one of the most
beautiful cities in the world; and
WHEREAS, our downtown area is being revitalized and is
fast becoming a show place; and
WHEREAS, it has always been the focus of the Board of
Directors to support and lead in efforts that will be of
benefit to the growing City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1. That a day be designated for former and
present members of the City Board of Directors to assist in
an effort to pick up trash downtown and throughout our City
in an effort to support the need to fight litter.
