A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE NORTH GAINES STREET FROM
GARLAND STREET NORTH TO THE MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILORAD BETWEEN BLOCKS 180 AND 181, ORIGINAL CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 20th
day of February, 1985, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon North Gaines Street from Garland Street
north to the Missouri Pacific Railroad, between Blocks 180
and 181, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject,
however, to any public utility easements located in said
street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 16th day of April 1 1985.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
