7336RESOLUTION NO. 7,336 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD CONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 1985 LOCAL DRAINAGE PROGRAM. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept the recommendation of the Consultant Selection Committee and award contracts for engineering services as set forth on the attached fact sheet for a total price not to exceed the budget, payable from the funds specified in the fact sheet. SECTION 2. These services will be provided at fees and expenses not to exceed the budget, with an option to extend the contract for a second year, based upon satisfactory performance by the contractor. BOARD ACTION RECOMMENDED: Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into contracts for engineering services in amounts not to exceed appropriations: Part I: Keli Manor, Wakefield Village, and Windamere - Blaylock - Threet and Associates for an estimated amount of $23,136. Part II: Ronald Drive - Edward G. Smith and Associates for an estimated - amount of $15,000. Part III: Coleman Creek from 12th to 19th Streets - Jim Summerlin and Associates for an estimated amount of $42,000. The Consultant Selection Committee considered proposals from four firms for each of the three projects, following established procedures. Funds for this work were appropriated in the 1985 Budget into Accounts No. 499 -8672 and 499 -8686. Estimates given above do not include contingencies or third party expenses.
