A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
PURCHASE FORTY (40) ACRES OF THE RAUCH ESTATE
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUTURE EXPANSION OF THE
CITY LANDFILL.
WHEREAS, this parcel of property is adjacent to the
current City Landfill; and
WHEREAS, this is the logical future expansion of the
City's disposal facility; and
WHEREAS, this property is adjacent to the Police Pistol
Range, thereby supporting future park development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
purchase forty (40) acres of the Rauch Estate for the purpose of
future expansion of the City Landfill.
SECTION 2. Funds were previously appropriated and are
available in Account No. 599 -8319.
