4 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
5 PURCHASE A TRACT OF LAND AT 10721 MABELVALE
6 WEST ROAD FOR $80,000.00.

9 WHEREAS, this parcel of property is a key acquisition
10 for tying down the South Loop alignment to match the Arkansas
11 Highway Transportation Department's Concept Plan for the
12 1- 430/1 -30 interchange; and
13 WHEREAS, the concept plan was the basis for the Master
14 Street Plan and Zoning changes initiated by the Riverview
15 Hospital Development to the west of this tract.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
17 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
19 purchase a two (2) acre tract of land located at 10721 Mabelvale
20 West Road from Joe Cook and Ida Cook for a negotiated price of
21 $80,000.00.
22 SECTION 2. Funds are currently available in the 1984
23 Advanced Right -of -Way Acquisition Account #399 -9106 and in the
24 1985 Advanced Right -of -Way Acquistion Account #499 -8682.
