A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
SETTLE LOCAL 34, ET AL. V. CITY; NO. 85 -242.

WHEREAS, the Firefighters' Union filed suit against the
City of Little Rock for holiday pay for 1982 through 1984; and
WHEREAS, the Firefighters' Union has approved a tentative
settlement which would result in dismissal of this lawsuit in
exchange for payment of a monetary sum to the plaintiffs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to
settle Local 34, et al, v. City; No. 85 -242 as has been outlined
to the Little Rock Board of Directors.
