A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
OFFER A SETTLEMENT PROPOSAL IN LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL POLICE ASSOCIATION, ET AL. V. CITY;
NO. 81 -7433.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to
settle the case of the Little Rock Municipal Association, et al.
v. City, No. 81 -7433 as has been outlined to the Little Rock
Board of Directors.
SECTION 2. Should the settlement offer be approved, the
Board of Directors hereby authorizes the formation of an ad -hoc
committee made up of an individual from the finance department,
an individual from the police department, and an individual
selected by the FOP to oversee the exact distribution of the
funds in a prompt and efficient manner.
