RESOLUTION NO. 7,457
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS
TO USE CERTAIN CITY LANDS
FOR WATERWORKS PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owns Adams
Field, the Little Rock Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Little Rock Municipal Water Works proposes to
install new water mains across that site and has requested
right -of -way for that purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Commissioners have approved the Water
Works' request and are willing for this Board to grant the
necessary permission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that the
proposed waterworks facilities are for a necessary public
purpose and will not adversely affect the use of Adams Field;
Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: The Board of Commissioners of Little Rock
Municipal Water Works is hereby granted permission to use the
hereinafter described permanent right -of -way in perpetuity for
the purpose of laying, constructing, maintaining, repairing,
replacing, testing and inspecting water mains, whether one or
more, and appurtenances thereto.
Section 2: The right -of -way is more particularly described
as follows:
A 20 -foot wide strip of waterline easement
situated in the W 1/4 of Section 8, T -1 -N,
R -11 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, the sides of said easement lying
10 feet right and left of the centerline of
a 16" waterline as more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at a chiseled "X" at the West 1/4
corner of Section 8; thence S 890 55' 42" E
along the south line of the NW 1/4 of
Section 8 a distance of 925.68 feet; thence
N 030 08' 55" W along the west right -of -way

line of East 9th Street 582.29 feet to a
Point of Beginning; thence S 221 16' 57" W,
566.72 feet; thence along a curve to the
right having a radius of 1,262.08 feet, a
central angle of 30° 24' 05" and a chord
bearing and distance of S 37° 29' 00" W,
661.84 feet to the easterly right -of -way
line of Airport Drive, the sides of the
above described easement to be lengthened or
shortened to terminate on the easterly
right -of -way line of Airport Drive and on
the west right -of -way line of East 9th
Street.
