A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
ARKLA ENERGY RESOURCES,
A DIVISION OF ARKLA, INC.,
TO USE CERTAIN CITY LANDS
FOR RELOCATION PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owns Adams
Field, the Little Rock Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, ARKLA ENERGY
, a Division of ARKLA, Inc.,
proposes to relocate gas transmission line AM -108 in the Adams
Field Terminal Area and has requested right -of -way for-that
purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Commissioners have approved Arkla's
request and are willing for this Board to grant the necessary
permission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that the
proposed relocation is for the necessary public purpose and will
not adversely affect the use of Adams Field; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: ARKLA ENERGY RESOURCES, a Division of ARKLA,
Inc. is hereby granted permission to use the hereinafter
described permanent right -of -way in perpetuity for the purpose
of laying, constructing, maintaining, repairing, replacing,
testing and inspecting gas transmission line AM -108 and
appurtenances thereto.
Section 2: The right -of -way is more particularly described
as follows:
A 40 -foot wide strip of gas line easement
situated in the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of
Section 8, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, the sides of said
easement lying 20 feet right and left of the
centerline of a 16" gas line as more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a chiseled "X" at the West 1/4
corner of Section 8; thence S 890 55' 42" E
along the South line of the NW 1/4 of
Section 8 a distance of 295.06 feet to a
Point of Beginning; thence N 250 20' 20" E,
51.53 feet; thence N 880 58' 51" E, 39.06

feet; thence N 260 22' 28" E, 1,148.63 feet
to the west right -of -way line of East 9th
Street, the sides of the above described
easement to be lengthened or shortened to
terminate on the west right -of -way line of
East 9th Street and on the South line of the
NW 1/4 of Section 8.
