A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
ARKANSAS POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY
TO USE CERTAIN CITY LANDS
FOE RELOCATION OF UTILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, owns Adams
Field, the Little Rock Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Power and Light Company proposes to
relocated electric power utilities in the Adams Field Terminal
Area, and has requested a right -of -way easement for that
purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Commissioners have approved A P & L's
request and are willing for this Board to grant the necessary
permission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that the
proposed relocation is for the necessary public purpose and will
not adversely affect the use of Adams Field; Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: The Arkansas Power and Light Company is hereby
granted permission to use the hereinafter described permanent
right -of -way easement in perpetuity for the purpose of laying,
constructing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, testing and
inspecting electric power utilities and appurtenances thereto.
Section 2: The right -of -way is more particularly described
as follows:
A 20 -foot wide strip of power line easement
situated in the W 1/4 of Section 8, T -1 -N,
R -11 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, the sides of said easement lying
10 feet right and left of the centerline of
a buried electric cable as more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at a chiseled "X" at the West 1/4
corner of Section 8; thence S 000 23' 00" E
along the west line of Section 8 a distance
of 302.36 feet; thence S 700 16' 32" E,
51.43 feet to a Point of Beginning on the
easterly edge of a concrete apron; thence
continuing S 700 16' 32" E, 325.07 feet;
thence along a non - tangent curve to the left
having a radius of 1,282.08 feet, a central

distance of N 35° 30' 46" E, 586.85 feet;
thence N 220 16' 57" E, 524.66 feet to the
west right -of -way line of East 9th Street,
the sides of the above described easement to
be lengthened or shortened to terminate on
the west right -of -way line of East 9th
Street and at the easterly edge of said
concrete apron.
