A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
COOPERATE WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT
LITTLE ROCK IN APPLYING TO THE STATE OF ARKANSAS
FOR A GRANT; UPON RECEIVING APPROVAL OF THE
GRANT, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER.TO ENTER
INTO CONTRACTS WITH CONTROL DATA CORPORATION
AND THE UNIVERSITY TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISH-
MENT OF A SMALL BUSINESS INCUBATOR.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
cooperate with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in
applying to the State of Arkansas for a grant to establish a
small business incubator.
SECTION 2. Upon securing the grant, the City Manager is
hereby authorized to enter into contracts with Control Data
Corporation and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the
establishment of a small business incubator.
SECTION 3. The City Manager will also keep the Board of
Directors advised of progress relating to the incubator before
entering into the contracts.
