A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF THE
ALLEY IN BLOCK 14 OF MIDLAND HILLS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 30th
day of May, 1986, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon the platted alleys in Block 14 of Midland Hills
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, EXCEPT the
east leg abutting Lots 18, 15, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7 and
the south 25 ft. of Lot 6 and the portion already closed by
Ordinance No. 14,041 abutting Lots 1, 2, 3, 25, 26, 27, and
28, as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing
of record in Plat Book 1, Page 150 in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to
any public utility easements located in said alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 1st day of July , 1986 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
