A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT THE LOW BID AND AWARD A CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MASS STORAGE SUBSYSTEM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept the low bid and award a contract to bidder as set forth in
the attached fact sheet and bid tabulation for the purchase of a
mass storage subsystem from Honevwell Information Systems, for a
total price not to exceed the budget, payable from the funds
specified in the fact sheets.

SUBJECT: Mass Storage Subsystem Purchase for Traffic Computer
BOARD ACTION RECOMMENDED: Adoption of a resolution authorizing the City
Manager to enter into a contract for purchase of mass storage subsystem from the
lowest acceptable bidder, Honeywell Information Systems, at a cost not to exceed
budget (total purchase cost estimate equals $33,941.00).
This contract will consist of one (1) 256 megabyte disc drive and one (1) disc
controller board with one year warranty. This mass storage subsystem will be
added to the traffic computer to expand its capabilities.
Funds available for this purchase were previously appropriated per Account
Number 499 - 8681 -712.
