A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED IN FAVOR OF
TRUMAN ARNOLD COMPANIES D /B /A ROADRUNNER
PURSUANT TO AN OFFER TO PURCHASE DATED
NOVEMBER 10, 1986 RECEIVED BY THE LITTLE
ROCK PORT AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
LOCATED IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUSTRIAL
PARK, SAID DEED TO CONVEY THE LAND AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN AND TO BE DELIVERED UPON
PAYMENT OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE
PRICE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority (the "Port ")
has received an offer to purchase ( "offer to purchase ") from
Truman Arnold Companies d/b /a Roadrunner (the "Purchaser "),
dated November 10, 1986, together with $1,000 as earnest money,
approximately 0.13 acres located in the Little Rock Port
Industrial Park; and
WHEREAS, the Port requests that the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City ") convey such
real estate to the Purchaser;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Purchaser has offered to purchase
approximately 0.13 acres of land located in the Little Rock Port
Industrial Park, pursuant to the offer to purchase. The tract
of land under consideration is more particularly described as
follows:
A tract of land situated in the NW„ SE;, Section
16, Township 1 North, Range 11 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the NW;,
SE;, Section 16, Township 1 North, Range 11 West of
the Fifth Principal Meridian; thence along the East
line of the NW; SE; of said Section 16, S O1 030'52" W,
11.64 feet; thence N 88'29'08" W, 96.50 feet to the
point of intersection of the west right -of -way line of
Fourche Dam Pike and the south right -of -way line of
the Little Rock Port Authority Railroad; thence along
said south railroad right of way S 78 047'32" W, 210.60
feet to the Point of Beginning; thence S 15 005'08" E,

313.71 feet to the north right of way line of Lindsey
Road; thence S 74 °50'52" W, 35.0 feet along said north
right of way line; thence N 08 043'12" W, 315.69 feet
to the Point of Beginning and containing 0.13 Ac
(5, 490 sq. ft. ) more or less.
Section 2. Pursuant to the terms of the offer to
purchase, there shall be paid to the City the sum of $21,960 for
the property described above, such purchase price being four
dollars ($4.00) per square foot for 5490 square feet more or
less. The Purchaser shall be given credit for the $1,000
tendered in its offer to purchase.
Section 3. The Board of Directors of the City hereby
approves the sale of the property described herein to the
Purchaser and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City a Warranty Deed and the
appropriate Plat and Bill of Assurance, conveying said property
to the Purchaser; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to attest said instruments and to deliver the same to
the Office of the City Attorney for delivery to the Purchaser
upon full payment of consideration in the sum of $20,960 plus
$1,000 tendered as earnest money.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from the date of its adoption.
