A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PORT AUTHORITY
TO GRANT SUCH EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS -OF -WAY AS
ARE REQUESTED BY THE UNITED STATES AND
NECESSARY TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SLACK
WATER HARBOR.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock has encouraged the Little Rock Port Authority to develop a
Slack Water Harbor at the Port of Little Rock on land belonging
to the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority entered into a
Local Cooperation Agreement with the United States of America on
the 3rd day of September, 1986, and
WHEREAS, in said agreement the Port Authority agreed to
provide to the United States easements and rights -of -way
necessary to the construction and maintenance of said Slack Water
Harbor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby authorizes the Little
Rock Port Authority to grant such easements and rights -of -way as

are requested by the United States which are deemed necessary for
the construction of the Little Rock Port Authority's Slack Water
Harbor.
