4 A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO RAY HEFLIN,
5 DILLARD DEPARTMENT STORES, INC. AND THE
6 CITY INFORMATION MASTER PLAN TEAM FOR THEIR
7 CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
8 ARKANSAS.

11 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors found and
12 determined that it was necessary to undergo an extensive review
13 of the City's information master plan relative to the
14 implementation of changes for new computer hardware /software and
15 information processing needs; and
16 WHEREAS, based on this directive, an Information Master
17 Plan was developed by City staff composed of project teams
18 dealing with two components, a policy team and a technical team;
19 and
20 WHEREAS, these teams consisted of several Department
21 Heads and representatives of both the private sector and state
22 government; and
23 WHEREAS, Mr. Ray Heflin of Dillard Department Stores, Inc.
24 lent his time and expertise generously so as to provide an
25 outside and objective perspective to the recommendations
26 contained in said plan; and
27 WHEREAS, this document is reflective of a comprehensive
28 review of the City's overall information needs.
29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
30 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
31 SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors wishes to
32 extend its appreciation to all of the members of the Policy Team
33 involved in preparing the Information Master Plan and to
