RESOLUTION NO. 7,652
A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE ASSIGNMENT
OF AIR. RIGHTS TO KARK -TV FROM DAVID J. JONES
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF A LEASE AGREE-
MENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND
DAVID J. JONES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock (LESSOR) entered into
a 99 -year lease of air rights with David J. Jones (LESSEE) on
May 4, 1983; and
WHEREAS, paragraph 14 of the lease granted the lessee
the right to assign all or an undivided interest in the
leased premises subject to the prior written consent of the
lessor; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 14, David J. Jones has
notified the City of his desire to assign his interest in the
agreement to KARK -TV.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby consents to such
assignment and the City Manager is hereby granted authority to
enter into such an agreement.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall remain in full force
and effect for the period of time covered in the original
lease, or until changed by mutual consent of the parties.
