3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 2, 2004, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE
5 EASTERNMOST END OF GOOCH ROAD, WEST OF
6 HEATHERBRAE PHASE III, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
10 Board of Directors vacate and abandon, pursuant to its general police power authority
11 under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, the public right -of -way 87.27 feet at the easternmost
12 end of Gooch Road, retaining the existing wastewater sewer easement.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
16 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
17 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 2nd day of August, 2004.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
19 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
20 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
21 in the City of Little Rock.
