A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
REGARING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas General Assembly has given municipalities the power to
annex areas that are completely surrounded by said municipalities under Act 314 of 1979; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock upon annexation will provide public safety services
to the land as well as providing other city services; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be conducted within sixty (60) days of the proposal of
the ordinance calling for annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1. That the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock shall hold a public
hearing on at their regular meeting on August 17, 2004 at 6 PM, regarding the proposed
annexation of the following property. The attached exhibits are maps of said property and are a
part of this resolution.

A PART OF THE SEA SW '/4 SW ''A NE' /4 SECTION 15, T2N,
R14W, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS LYING NORTH
OF ARKANSAS HIGHWAY 10 AND BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: beginning at
the intersection of the eas* line of the SE '14 SW '/4 SW '/4 NE''A
of said section 15 and the north R.O.W. line of Arkansas
Highway 10; thence N88 16' 29 "W 259.87 feet along the north
R.O.W. line of Arkansas Highway 10 to a point; thence continue
along said north R.O.W. N83 38' 16 "W 64.03 feet to a found 2
%" metal pipe; thence NO2 02' 30 "W 284.25 feet to a found 2 '/2
" metal pipe; thence S 87 12' 37 "W 328.60 feet to a found metal
pipe; thence S 02 00' 48 "W 283.32 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 2.11 acres, more or less.
SECTION II. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage.
