3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE LEASE OF OFFICE
4 SPACE OWNED BY PEARSON- LUCCHI JOINT VENTURE; AND
5 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, Pearson - Lucchi, a Joint Venture located at 917 "B" West Markham in
8 Little Rock, Arkansas, owns rental property located at 921 W. Markham Street; and
9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Department of Information Technology
10 currently leases approximately 2300 square feet of office space at 921 W. Markham
1 l pursuant to a calendar quarter periodic tenancy; and
12 WHEREAS, the Department Information Technology desires to lease this
13 property on a long -term basis; and
14 WHEREAS, the Pearson - Lucchi Joint Venture is also interested in leasing 2300
15 square feet of office space to the City of Little Rock for use by the Department of
16 Information Technology on a long -term basis.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a lease agreement with
20 Pearson - Lucchi, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for the Little Rock
21 Department of Information Technology's use of office space located at 921 West
22 Markham Street for a period of not more than five (5) years, at a cost of Four Thousand
23 Fifty Dollars and No Cents ($4,050.00) in rental payments each calendar quarter.
24 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
25 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
26 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining

portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
ordinance.
Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the
extent of such inconsistency.
