3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 13, 2004, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE
5 CITY'S ADOPTED CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN; AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, public comment must be solicited prior to amending the City's
9 adopted Citizen Participation Plan, which sets forth the process through which citizens
10 are involved in the planning and development of projects funded through the CDBG
11 and HOME programs., and
12 WHEREAS, the Consolidated Planning Committee and staff, with the
13 concurrence of the City Manager, have determined that the two committees should be
14 combined into one body;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on said proposal shall be held at a meeting of the
18 Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
19 o'clock on the 13th day of July, 2004.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
23 in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
