A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXTEND THE CUIVRENT THREE YEAR CONTRACT
WITH BEN E. KEITH FOOD DISTRIBUTORSHIP FOR ONE
YEAR TO PROVIDE FOOD PRODUCTS FOR THE SPECIAL
NUTRITION PROGRAMS, SUMMER FOOD SERVICE
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Ben E. Keith has provided food for the Special Nutrition
Programs, Summer Food Service Program for the past three years, and
WHEREAS, their product meets the nutritional qualifications approved by
the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and
WHEREAS, they have provided excellent service to the Little Rock Parks
and Recreation Department, and
WHEREAS, the products provided by Ben E. Keith for this contract are
funded by the United States Department of Agriculture,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manger is hereby authorized to extend the current
three year contract with Ben E. Keith for an additional year.
