RESOLUTION NO. 11,725
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
CARTER & BURGESS, INC. FOR PROGRAM
COORDINATION FOR THE 2004 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BOND PROGRAM
WHEREAS, in November 2004, voters approved a Capital Improvement Program that
included, among others, 33 street reconstruction, drainage, and pedestrian safety
improvement projects;
AND, contracts for designing the 33 street reconstruction, drainage, and pedestrian safety
improvement projects have previously been awarded to 20 consulting firms;
AND, Carter & Burgess, Inc., was selected through a Request for Qualifications process
to provide program coordination services for the various projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an
agreement with Carter & Burgess, Inc., for program coordination services on the 33 street
reconstruction, drainage, and pedestrian safety improvement projects.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from estimated amounts for the
various projects. Amount for Engineering Services not to exceed: $265,000.
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
