A RESOLUTION TO SET MARCH 2, 2004, AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO FORM THE MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS — UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS PROJECT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on January 21, 2004, a Petition was duly filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the Little Rock Board of Directors to approve the
formation of the Municipal Improvement District No. 21 of Little Rock, Arkansas —
12 University Heights Project, pursuant to Ark. Code. Ann. § 14 -94 -101, et seq., and
13 WHEREAS, an Abstractor's Certificate has been presented that certifies that a
14 majority in value of the owners of the property in the District have executed the
15 Petition, and
16 WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -88 -203 requires that a hearing be held on the
17 formation of such district.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at a meeting of the Board
21 of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on
22 the 2nd day of March, 2004.
23 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
24 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks'in
