3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS TO
5 DESIGN 2004 BOND STREET, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALK, AND
6 TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the citizens of Little Rock, Arkansas voted in 2003 to continue a
9 property tax for the purpose of issuing bonds for various capital improvements, and
10 WHEREAS, an Annual Statement of Qualifications was advertised in November
11 2003 under Bid No. 03 -272 for professional services of engineering consultants to design
12 certain of the street, drainage, and sidewalk capital improvements, the consultants
13 submitting qualifications considered by the Review Committee, and fee amounts
14 negotiated as required by state law, and
15 WHEREAS, the list of projects, selected consultants and fee amounts are
16 provided in Attachment "A ";
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
18 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute agreements with the
20 consultants for the projects and in the amounts listed in Attachment "A ".
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
22 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
23 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
24 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
25 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.

Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
