3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS TO
5 DESIGN BOND STREET, DRAINAGE, AND SIDEWALK PROJECTS;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the citizens of Little Rock, Arkansas voted in 2003 to continue a
9 property tax for the purpose of issuing bonds for various capital improvements, and
10 WHEREAS, the services of engineering consultants to design certain of the
11 street, drainage, and sidewalk capital improvements have been solicited and fee
12 amounts negotiated as required by state law, and
13 WHEREAS, the list of projects, selected consultants and fee amounts are
14 provided in Attachment "A ";
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
16 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute agreements with the
18 consultants for the projects and in the amounts listed in Attachment "A ".
19 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
20 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
21 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
22 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
23 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.

Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
