3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT COMMISSIONERS TO
4 RIVERDALE LEVEE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 134 TO
5 VACANT POSITIONS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the Riverdale Levee Improvement District No. 134 was created by
8 Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 12,932 (May 21, 1974), and
9 WHEREAS, there have been vacancies on the board of the improvement district
10 created by the deaths of Commissioners Virginia Bailey and Max Milam, and
11 WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. §14 -88 -304 provides that in the event of a vacancy
12 created by the death of a commissioner, a replacement commissioner shall be appointed
13 by the Board of Directors of the City which created the improvement district, and
14 WHEREAS, the remaining commissioner of the Riverdale Levee Improvement
15 District No. 134 has suggested replacements for the commissioner vacancies.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City of Little Rock Board of Directors hereby appoints Charles W.
19 Letzig and Gary Greene, who are members of the Riverdale Architecture Review
20 Committee, have had considerable involvement with Riverdale Addition and are well

informed about the District, as the new commissioners for Riverdale Levee Improvement
District No. 134.
