116060 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 11,606 0 3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 ENTER INTO A TOWING SERVICE CONTRACT WITH EACH 5 COMPANY THAT RESPONDED SUCCESSFULLY TO THE 6 CITY'S REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS; AND FOR OTHER 7 PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, the City has elected to use a rotation basis for contract wrecker 10 service, and 11 WHEREAS, after a competitive selection process, four companies have been 12 deemed to be responsible and responsive bidders. 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 15 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into towing service contracts 16 with: 17 (A) Metro Towing & Recovery, Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas; 18 (B) Routh Wrecker Service, Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas; 19 (C) Trek Towing, LLC, of Little Rock, Arkansas; and 20 (D) Asher Wrecker Service, Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas 21 Section 2. The term of these towing service contracts shall be from 12:01 AM, 22 September 1, 2003 to 12:00 Midnight, August 31, 2004. 23 Section 3.
