WHEREAS, the Quapaw Central Business Improvement District #5 was created by Little Rock, Ark. Ordinance No. 15,110 (June 3,1986); and WHEREAS, there have been vacancies on the board of the improvement district created when two of its commissioners moved out of the area encompassing the improvement district; and WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. §14 -88 -304 provides that in the event of a vacancy created when one of the current commissioners moves out of the improvement district, a replacement commissioner shall be appointed by the Board of Directors of the City which created the improvement district; and WHEREAS, the remaining commissioners of the Quapaw Central Business Improvement District #5 have suggested replacements for the commissioner vacancies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The City of Little Rock Board of Directors hereby appoints 21 22 23 24 25 26 Bill Roehrenbeck, who represents a business which owns property and employs individuals in the District, and Richard Butler, who owns property in the District, as the new commissioners for Quapaw Central Business Improvement District No. 5.
